That is unless they somehow obtained the No. 1 pick from the Tennessee Titans, who also need a quarterback (ditto for the Cleveland Browns, who hold the No. 2 pick).<\/p>\n<p>For now, Jerry Jones\u2019 main goal is to figure out McCarthy\u2019s replacement at HC. Chances are he won\u2019t actually hire Coach Prime, who has zero coaching experience at the NFL level.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h-dak-prescott-had-frustrating-2024-season-with-cowboys\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dak Prescott Had Frustrating 2024 Season With Cowboys<\/h2>\n<p>Even before he suffered a hamstring injury that required season-ending surgery, Prescott and the Cowboys never once resembled title contenders.<\/p>\n<p>The 31-year-old completed 64.7 percent of pass attempts for 1,978 yards, 11 touchdowns and eight interceptions.
