Brittany Mahomes has given birth to a baby girl, her third child with Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick.<\/p>\n

The couple \u2013 who already have a daughter, three-year-old Sterling, and a son, two-year-old Bronze \u2013 had announced last July that they were expecting another child together.<\/p>\n

And six months on Brittany has confirmed that she brought their second girl, Golden Raye Mahomes, into the world on Sunday January 12.<\/p>\n

In an Instagram post on Monday, the Chiefs WAG shared a photo of her and Patrick\u2019s hands resting above Golden Raye\u2019s feet, which are placed just in front of a sign with her name on it.<\/p>\n

The 29-year-old Patrick had said on Christmas Day that Brittany was due to give birth imminently and joked that he hoped it was during his team\u2019s bye week before the playoffs.<\/p>\n

Speaking after his team beat Pittsburgh Steelers on Dec. 25, a win that gave his team an extra week off before the playoffs, Mahomes said: \u2018I told my pregnant wife I was gonna get her the number one seed so we can go have that baby. So we got that number one seed.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u2018Any day now,\u2019 he said of her due date. \u2018Brittany says I have been stressing her out too much this season so I got to try and not put so much stress on her through these football games and get the bye.<\/p>\n

\u2018Hopefully God works the right way and we can have that baby maybe on the bye week somewhere. And then everything will work out perfectly.\u2019<\/p>\n

Patrick and Brittany are high school sweethearts. They started dating in March 2012 and even attended their prom together a year later.<\/p>\n

They got engaged in September 2020, months after Patrick had won his first Super Bowl with the Chiefs.<\/p>\n

\u2018You don\u2019t think it\u2019s going to be nerve-wracking, especially when you\u2019ve been with someone for so long, but before you get on that knee, your heart\u2019s racing, I promise you that,\u2019 he said.<\/p>\n

Later that month, they announced they were expecting their first child. They eventually got married in March 2022 in Hawaii, after the birth daughter Sterling.<\/p>\n

Brittany has struck up a friendship with Taylor Swift, ever since the singer began dating Mahomes\u2019 teammate Travis Kelce.<\/p>\n

Back in October, Mahomes posed for a picture with fellow WAG Lyndsey Bell and Swift, who posed with her hand over Mahomes\u2019 baby bump.<\/p>\n

The trio were repeating a picture they had staged earlier in 2024 when Bell was pregnant \u2013 and it inevitably sparked speculation among the Swifties that Travis and Taylor will be the next to be expecting a baby.<\/p>\n

The Chiefs are set to begin their push for an unprecedented third straight Super Bowl on the weekend of January 18-19.<\/p>\n

And if Brittany was still waiting to give birth, Mahomes may have faced a difficult decision over whether he would miss a make-or-break game to be there for the birth of his child.<\/p>\n
