On Sunday, Jan. 12, the Kansas City Current co-owner, 29,\u00a0and Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, also 29, welcomed their third baby, daughter Golden Raye Mahomes. The couple announced the exciting news on\u00a0Instagram<\/a>, sharing a black-and-white photo.<\/p>\n

In the photo, Brittany and Patrick can be seen holding their baby daughter’s feet above a wooden sign that reads her name. “\u2022Golden Raye Mahomes\u2022 1\/12\/25\ud83c\udf80\u2728,” they wrote in the caption of their joint post.<\/p>\n

The couple’s newest addition will join daughter\u00a0Sterling Skye<\/a>, 3,\u00a0and son,\u00a0Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III<\/a>, 2.<\/p>\n

Back in July, Brittany announced in a joint\u00a0Instagram Reels<\/a>\u00a0that she and her husband Patrick\u00a0were expecting their third baby together<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The couple shared an adorable\u00a0video<\/a>\u00a0of themselves with their daughter Sterling and son Bronze having a photo shoot in all-white outfits, as they smiled, laughed and danced around with sonograms.<\/p>\n

Patrick and Brittany began dating as teenagers when he was a sophomore and she was a junior at Whitehouse High School in Texas.<\/p>\n

In a\u00a02020 interview with\u00a0Today<\/em><\/a>, Patrick reflected on the early days of his relationship with Brittany, describing himself as “just a normal teenage kid showing up at the family dinner type stuff and being nervous and everything.”<\/p>\n

Following his Super Bowl ring ceremony in September 2020, Patrick\u00a0proposed to Brittany<\/a>\u00a0in front of a floral wall with a neon light that read “Will You Marry Me?” Later that same month, the couple announced they were\u00a0expecting their first child<\/a>. Their daughter Sterling Skye was born in February 2021.<\/p>\n

On March 12, 2022, Patrick and Brittany finally said “I do<\/a>” after 10 years of dating during a private ceremony held in\u00a0Maui, Hawaii<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Later that year, the couple announced they were expanding their family with baby No. 2 in\u00a0a\u00a0joint Instagram post<\/a>. Their second baby, son Bronze, was born in November 2022.<\/p>\n
