Tom Homan, President-elect Donald Trump\u2019s pick to oversee \u201cthe largest deportation operation in American history<\/a>,\u201d revealed Friday that the new administration is considering setting up a hotline that would allow Americans to report migrants suspected of committing crimes.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want a place where American citizens can call and report,\u201d the incoming border czar said of the \u201cfresh idea\u201d being evaluated by the Trump transition team,\u00a0during an interview with NBC News<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe need to take care of the American people,\u201d Homan added. \u201cWe need to make sure they have an outlet to help report child traffickers, forced labor traffickers.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe want to give them an opportunity to be a part of the fix.\u201d<\/p>\n

Homan,\u00a0the former acting director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement<\/a>, argued that the benefits of mass deporting migrants who have committed crimes while in the US illegally cannot be overstated.<\/p>\n
