Chantel Mayo, the wife of former\u00a0New England Patriots<\/a>\u00a0head coach\u00a0Jerod Mayo<\/a>, has called the team out in an online rant, threatening to expose their\u00a0\u201clies.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n Mayo was given the boot by Pats owner\u00a0Robert Kraft<\/a>, who this week announced the decision to let him go after just one season in charge.<\/p>\n The development came as a surprise given the team Mayo took over, as well as the low expectations. It was understood that he would be given time to grow into the role while the team underwent a rebuild.<\/p>\n As it turned out, that was not the case. And Mayo\u2019s wife doesn\u2019t appear to be happy with some of the stories that have surfaced in the wake of his dismissal.<\/p>\n \u201cIt never even crossed our minds to tell the truth\u2026But I couldn\u2019t even fathom all of the lies we read that are being told to save face. What happened to class?\u201d\u00a0she posted via her Instagram story<\/a>\u00a0this Friday.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019ve been taking the high road and letting everyone do their thing since Sunday. But playing with someone\u2019s name won\u2019t be tolerated.
