Conservative commentator Tomi Lahren claims she has the definitive answer as to why Angel Reese deleted her Instagram on Thursday \u2013 she wanted another reason to keep eyes on her and away from\u00a0Caitlin Clark<\/span>.<\/p>\n

The claim that Reese deleted Instagram just for attention is a bold one, especially to claim the Chicago Sky star has her\u00a0Indiana<\/span>\u00a0Fever rival on her mind that much.<\/p>\n

Yet, the jealousy that Lahren claims Resse has for her\u00a0WNBA<\/span>\u00a0contemporary motivates all of the actions she has been taking in her time on and off the court.<\/p>\n

Clark and Reese have been at the forefront of the rise in popularity of women\u2019s basketball since their college days at\u00a0Iowa<\/span>\u00a0and LSU respectively.<\/p>\n

Now, after being part of last year\u2019s WNBA draft, they are two of the biggest stars in all of basketball.<\/p>\n

Reese seemingly deleted her Instagram after wearing a racy outfit on New Year\u2019s Eve that caused chaos on the internet.<\/p>\n

Lahren\u2019s co-host, Clay Travis, said it does not make sense why Reese would post that outfit and not expect men to notice and judge.<\/p>\n

\u2018I don\u2019t understand that either. I don\u2019t think that it really bothers her, I think she likes the attention, she enjoys the attention, that\u2019s why she does it,\u2019 Lahren added. \u2018But she also says ridiculous things like that because she enjoys the attention.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u2018And I think any time Caitlin Clark gets attention, Angel Reese has be in the corner like, \u201cLook at me, look at me!\u201d And it\u2019s going to be for whatever reason. She wore that and she posted that so people would talk about her because she doesn\u2019t want people talking about Caitlin Clark.<\/p>\n

\u2018And Caitlin Clark is one of the only female stars you\u2019re not going to see in a skimpy dress and I think that\u2019s another reason why the two are so different. I don\u2019t think you\u2019d ever see that on Caitlin Clark. But Angel Reese, she wants to be a cultural icon, she wants to be Beyonce and she wants us to talk about her and not Caitlin Clark.\u2019<\/p>\n

Despite Clark and Reese both denying any personal animosity between the two and having anything other than a rivalry within the confines of the WNBA, many people believe the duo have a heated conflict due to how similar their career paths have been, with differing results.<\/p>\n
