They were met with a chorus of \u201cterrible\u201d and \u201cB.S.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h-luigi-mangione-is-fighting-extradition-following-arrest\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Luigi Mangione Is Fighting Extradition Following Arrest<\/h2>\n<p>The man accused of killing United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson in midtown Manhattan is fighting extradition to New York.<\/p>\n<p>Since being arrested on Monday, authorities have been building their case against Luigi Mangione.<\/p>\n<p>Mangione, a 26-year-old Ivy League graduate, is accused of gunning down Brian Thompson, the UnitedHealthcare CEO, outside a Midtown Manhattan hotel on Dec. 4.<\/p>\n<p>A judge in Pennsylvania ordered Mangione held without bail on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<div id=\"incontent-ad-4\" class=\"pw-incontent\" data-label=\"Advertisement\"><\/div>\n<p>He plans to challenge his extradition to New York, where he faces charges including second-degree murder.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; &nbsp; The Luigi Mangione story has seen almost everything and added a new chapter with the strangest live interview ever seen.
