Jason Kelce<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0has revealed he was filming a sketch for his\u00a0new late-night show<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0when he\u00a0flipped an Eagles-themed vehicle<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0on the streets of Philadelphia last week – but that part wasn’t in the script.<\/p>\n

Kelce, who spent 13 years with the\u00a0Philadelphia Eagles<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0before retiring at the end of last season, was seen driving a golf cart that was modified to look like one of the team’s football helmets down Philly’s famous Broad Street last week.<\/p>\n

Yet in a shocking video which went viral online, the legendary center swerved dramatically from side to side in the cart before flipping it after taking too sharp of a turn, with the clip ending as it went over.<\/p>\n

Many fans were left worried for Jason’s welfare after seeing the cart flip, while also expressing confusion at why he was driving it in the first place.<\/p>\n

Now he has explained the story behind the viral video on the latest episode of his and brother Travis’\u00a0New Heights podcast<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0– reassuring those same fans that he ‘made it out alright’ and that he was actually taking part in a shoot for his upcoming\u00a0‘They Call It Late Night with Jason Kelce’ show at the time.<\/p>\n

‘We literally stopped traffic to do these shoots. It’s a fun bit, it’s good,’ the 37-year-old told Travis. ‘The Eagles have this one [helmet cart] and a throwback Kelly Green version of it, they live in the stadium.<\/p>\n
