Al Michaels<\/a>\u00a0is known to use the odd betting reference during football games, having done so for many years. But, based on his latest comments, he doesn\u2019t appear to be a huge fan.<\/p>\n Betting has evolved into something no one would have imagined just a few years ago, with leagues and television networks now in bed with bookmakers and actually promoting the pastime.<\/p>\n While Michaels used to be one of the only commentators who would make subtle comments about spreads and totals, everyone seems to be doing it now.<\/p>\n As it turns out, the longtime broadcaster isn\u2019t so pro-betting.<\/p>\n Michaels made an appearance on CNBC\u2019s \u2018Squawk on the Street\u2019 ahead of yesterday\u2019s Black Friday game between the Chiefs and Raiders to discuss the rise of sports betting and would warn against it, telling punters the game is rigged.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m not sure if it\u2019s for the better,\u201d\u00a0<\/em>he said<\/a>.\u00a0\u201cYou cannot win in gambling. It\u2019s a rigged game. Once in a while, you\u2019ll hit the jackpot or whatever.
