During the first game on Thanksgiving day, the\u00a0Detroit Lions<\/a>\u00a0won a nail-biter against the\u00a0Chicago Bears<\/a>\u00a023-20. The game would end in heartbreak for Chicago, and much of the blame has fallen on head coach Matt Eberflus.<\/p>\n With seven seconds left, the Bears ran a play from the 41yard line with a deep shot and just four yards away from field goal range. It would fall incomplete, the clock hit triple zeros, and the game ended.<\/p>\n However, the Bears still had one timeout left, so many wondered why Eberflus called for a deep shot instead of just trying to get a few yards, then calling a timeout and going for the tie.<\/p>\n After the game, he was asked about the situation and completely tip-toed around the situation.<\/p>\n \u201cLike I said, disappointing for the players.
