Over a year after the Kansas City Chiefs player and\u00a0Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0brought their romance into the public eye, the model shared how she is still reeling from her and Travis\u2019 2022 breakup.<\/p>\n \u201cGoing through a public breakup,\u201d Kayla detailed in\u00a0a preview for\u00a0<\/a>Special Forces<\/em><\/a>\u00a0released Nov. 27, as tears streamed down her face, \u201cIt\u2019s been overwhelming.\u201d<\/p>\n Later, a fellow contestant\u00a0Alana Blanchard<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0asks her who her ex is, and Kayla whispers, \u201cTravis Kelce.\u201d<\/p>\n This is not the first time that Kayla has expressed how difficult it has been to see her ex moving on with the \u201cKarma\u201d singer, given the fierce dedication of her fanbase.<\/p>\n \u201cI would be lying if I said that that level of hate and just online chaos doesn\u2019t impact me,\u201d Kayla admitted on an\u00a0October episode of the\u00a0<\/a>Unapologetically Angel<\/em><\/a>\u00a0podcast<\/a>. \u201cYou could go to my most recent post and it\u2019ll be people debating why I\u2019m worthless and how I\u2019ll never be a talented person.\u201d<\/p>\n But despite feeling overwhelmed by the hateful comments at times, Kayla understands that the online criticism has nothing to do with her as a person.<\/p>\n \u201cI think there\u2019s something about that level of fame that attracts crazy people,\u201d Kayla posited of her ex\u2019s sharp rise to stardom. \u201cAnd it\u2019s unfortunate because I\u2019ve never done anything to warrant that kind of backlash.\u201d<\/p>\n Kayla has had to bore the brunt of Travis\u2019 catapult into the spotlight amid his romance with Taylor\u2014going so far as to unfollow his teammate\u00a0Patrick Mahomes<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Brittany Mahomes<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0to\u00a0\u201cprotect\u201d herself<\/a>\u2014but she is not the only one who has detailed its challenges.<\/p>\n In fact, Travis\u2019 family including parents\u00a0Donna Kelce<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Ed Kelce<\/strong><\/a>, as well as his brother\u00a0Jason Kelce<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and his wife\u00a0Kylie Kelce<\/strong><\/a>, have all shared their perspective on stepping into the spotlight.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n \u201cIt’s been crazy,” Jason\u2014who shares\u00a0Wyatt<\/strong><\/a>, 5,\u00a0Elliotte<\/strong><\/a>, 3,\u00a0Bennett<\/strong><\/a>, 22 months and\u00a0has\u00a0a fourth baby on the way<\/a>\u00a0with Kylie\u2014shared in June on theWhiskey Ginger<\/em>\u00a0podcast. \u201cTravis and Taylor have taken it to another level and that’s a whole other side of it.
