I have to get a different procedure done on my face. So we\u2019re just trying to take the necessary steps in order to see how long I can wait until I have to get that procedure done.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Haener had a biopsy prior to Saints training camp after noticing what he described as an \u201codd-looking bump\u201d on his face, per Terrell. The biopsy determined that Haener\u2019s bump was cancerous.<\/p>\n<p>The New Orleans Saints backup quarterback didn\u2019t specify what form of skin cancer but emphasized that there\u2019s no cause for concern.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI feel like I\u2019m pretty young and healthy to be able to have something like that pop up,\u201d Haener added, via Terrell. \u201cBut I want to take care of it and be responsible about it, obviously not make it a distraction because I\u2019m going to be fine, everything\u2019s going to be taken care of.\u201d<\/p>\n<section class=\"wp-block-group check-this-out has-xs-padding-top has-sm-padding-bottom\" data-content-name=\"Check This Out\" data-track-content=\"\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-nowrap is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-8 wp-block-group-is-layout-flex has-xl-margin-bottom\">\n<p>Haener was drafted in the fourth round (127th overall) by the Saints last year after flourishing a Fresno State. Haener, rookie Spencer Rattler (the No. 150 selection) and do-it-all utility man\u00a0<a class=\"mai-link-injected\" href=\"https:\/\/www.totalprosports.com\/tag\/taysom-hill\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Taysom Hill<\/a>\u00a0are the other three QBS listed on the team\u2019s depth chart.<\/p>\n<div id=\"incontent-ad-3\" class=\"pw-incontent\" data-label=\"Advertisement\"><\/div>\n<p>Our thoughts are with Jake Haener and his family right now.
