The Culver football community and the town of Wentzville, Missouri, are grieving the sudden death of 18-year-old Antoni Wrobel, a freshman quarterback, whose life was tragically cut short in a wrong-way crash late Tuesday night.<\/p>\n

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), the crash occurred on\u00a0U.S. Route 61<\/a>\u00a0in Canton, Missouri, at approximately 11:25 p.m. on November 12, 2024.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Wrobel, who was driving a 2008 model Honda Accord southbound in the northbound lane, collided with a 2017 Volvo tractor-trailer driven by a 35-year-old man from Minnesota,\u00a0who was unharmed.<\/a> The semi-truck went through the median and came to a stop in the northbound lane, while Wrobel’s car came to rest in the median.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
