As\u00a0Jerry Jones<\/a>\u00a0and the\u00a0Dallas Cowboys<\/a>\u00a0try to salvage what\u2019s left of a miserable 2024 season, things it sounds like things could get even worse for the polarizing NFL owner.<\/p>\n Jerry Jones\u2019 Cowboys fell 34-6 to the rival Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, marking their fourth straight loss of the season. And with starting quarterback\u00a0Dak Prescott<\/a>\u00a0expected to undergo season-ending surgery on his hamstring, it\u2019s not a stretch to believe that Dallas will finish with a top-five pick in April.<\/p>\n For Jones, marketing the Cowboys brand and bringing them as much exposure as possible seemingly matters just as much as on-field results. But the business side of things could take another flow, with Eric Fisher of Front Office Sports explaining that the Cowboys (3-6)\u00a0could be flexed out of several<\/a>\u00a0prime-time games after their Nov. 24 showdown with the Washington Commanders:<\/p>\n \u201cAfter that, three of the Cowboys\u2019 final five games are currently in key broadcast windows: a Dec. 9 MNF game against the Bengals, a Dec. 22 Sunday Night Football game against the Buccaneers, and a Dec. 29 national America\u2019s Game of the Week slot at 4:25 p.m. ET on Fox against the Eagles.<\/p>\n All three of those games conceivably stand at risk for movement by the NFL in the league\u2019s flex scheduling rules\u2014particularly given that Cincinnati and Tampa Bay also have losing records, and Philadelphia could have a postseason slot locked up by then.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
