Caleb Williams<\/a>\u00a0and the\u00a0Chicago Bears<\/a>\u00a0are in a freefall that just will not stop.<\/p>\n Just one month ago, the team was riding high with a 4-2 record after winning three straight games and looking like it might be able to make a run for the playoffs.<\/p>\n Now, the team is on a nasty three-game losing streak, and the offense has fallen off a cliff.<\/p>\n Offensive coordinator Shane Waldron\u2019s unit recorded just 11 first downs and averaged a mere 2.4 yards per play during Sunday\u2019s terrible 19-3 loss to the\u00a0New England Patriots<\/a>.<\/p>\n Caleb Williams finished 16-of-30 for 120 yards and was sacked a season-high nine times.<\/p>\n The worst part of the game had nothing to do with the offense or defense.<\/p>\n The rookie quarterback could be seen on the ground, appearing to be in pain and waiting for his teammates to come help him up. It never happened.<\/p>\n One player from the New England Patriots had to come over and get him to his feet as he tapped him on his head.<\/p>\n
