were healthy, there\u2019s a chance that the Cowboys wouldn\u2019t be playing for anything at that point in the year.<\/p>\n<p>This will be a hard pill to swallow for a team that has won\u00a0<a injured hamstring late in the third quarter of Sunday\u2019s loss to the Falcons, Dak Prescott appears to be headed to the injured reserve list, according to Cowboys owner\u00a0<a class=\"mai-link-injected\" href=\"https:\/\/www.totalprosports.com\/tag\/jerry-jones\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jerry Jones<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Should that happen, the Cowboys $240 million quarterback will miss at least four games, including three that are set to air in national broadcast windows.<\/p>\n<p>This is the worst possible time since the team is 3-5 and needs to fight like hell to save its season.<\/p>\n<p>If that proves to be the case with Dak Prescott, he won\u2019t be eligible to suit up again until Dallas\u2019 Dec. 9 Monday Night Football matchup against the Bengals.<\/p>\n<p>Without Prescott, Dallas will turn to veteran backup Cooper Rush to start under center.<\/p>\n<p>He does have success as the 30-year-old has a career record of 5-1 as a starter,
