Jemele Hill<\/a>\u00a0has picked a side following\u00a0Jason Kelce<\/a>\u2019s surprising altercation with a Penn State fan on Saturday.<\/p>\n Kelce left the student needing a new phone after smashing it in retaliation for calling his brother,\u00a0Travis Kelce<\/a>, a homophobic slur.<\/p>\n The former Eagles star expressed regret over the incident on \u2018Monday Night Countdown\u2019 this week, claiming he was not proud and will do better moving forward.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m not happy with anything that took place. I\u2019m not proud of it,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0he said.\u00a0\u201cAnd in a heated moment, I chose to greet hate with hate, and I just don\u2019t think that\u2019s a productive thing. I really don\u2019t. I don\u2019t think it leads to discourse, and [don\u2019t think] it\u2019s the right way to go about things.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cIn that moment, I fell down to a level that I shouldn\u2019t have. So I think bottom line is, I try to live my life by the golden rule. It\u2019s what I\u2019ve always been taught. I try to treat people with common decency and respect, even though I fell short this week.
