Kelly Stafford\u2014who is married to Los Angeles Rams quarterback Michael Stafford\u2014shared why she grew “tired” of the NFL’s coverage of Taylor Swift last season, saying it was “outshining the games.”<\/p>\n

Kelly Stafford<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0has some bad blood with the NFL.<\/p>\n

The 34-year-old\u2014who is married to Los Angeles Rams quarterback\u00a0Matthew Stafford<\/strong><\/a>\u2014shared that she felt like the football league overdid its coverage of\u00a0Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0last year after the singer started attending Kansas City Chiefs games to support her boyfriend,\u00a0Travis Kelce<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

“Now, I have never once said I didn’t like Taylor Swift\u2014ever,” Kelly said\u00a0during an Oct. 31 episode of her\u00a0The Morning After<\/em>\u00a0podcast<\/a>. \u201cBut I will say I kind of got tired of the Chiefs\u2019 coverage of it\u2014actually the NFL\u2019s coverage\u2014of this budding relationship last year.”<\/p>\n

And Kelly doesn’t place any blame on Taylor for how much she was shown on TV. As she put simply, “Can she do anything about that? No, she can\u2019t.”<\/p>\n

In fact, Kelly also said she understands why the NFL was so interested in stories about the “Cruel Summer” singer, who\u00a0debuted her romance with Travis<\/a>\u00a0when she stepped out for his Kansas City game back in September 2023.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n
