ESPN\u2019s\u00a0Pat McAfee<\/a>\u00a0teed off on an\u00a0NFL<\/a>\u00a0head coach and accused him of throwing his quarterback under the boss following a tough Week 8 loss.<\/p>\n Pat McAfee donned a panda costume for today\u2019s edition of his hit show. He was joined by former Indianapolis Colts head coach Chuck Pagano, who also served as defensive coordinator for the Chicago Bears and Baltimore Ravens.<\/p>\n So Pagano, who was highly regarded among his guys in Indy, has first-hand knowledge of the importance in not publicly criticizing your players too harshly.<\/p>\n It\u2019s understandable that Pagano and McAfee took issue with what\u00a0New York Giants<\/a>\u00a0head coach Brian Daboll said about quarterback\u00a0Daniel Jones<\/a>\u00a0after Monday night\u2019s 26-18 road loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.<\/p>\n Speaking to reporters after the game, Daboll said that Jones felt \u201cterrible\u201d about a costly turnover in the fourth quarter and that he owned up to the mistake. Some folks ripped Daboll for seemingly blaming his quarterback.<\/p>\n Pat McAfee took issue with Daboll\u2019s post-game comments, accusing\u00a0him of throwing<\/a>\u00a0his quarterback under the bus.<\/p>\n \u201cDid Daniel Jones come out, when he was speaking to the media, and talk about that two-point play that (was botched) and then he went and executed? You could clearly see how upset Daniel was after that debacle \u2014 the swinging gate [or] whatever that was. Did he come out and bash his head coach? I don\u2019t think so\u2026\u201cWhen you start taking shots at each other \u2014 not good.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n \n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
