But unfortunately for the star defensive end, a fine is likely on the way.<\/p>\n<p>As pointed out by Alex Simon of SFGate, Nick Bosa is\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sfgate.com\/49ers\/article\/nick-bosa-hat-stunt-broke-nfl-rules-19869103.php?utm_medium=facebook&amp;utm_source=sfgate\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">likely to face punishment<\/a>\u00a0from the league for violating their rules on donning an item that carries a personal message:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRule 5, Section 4, Article 8 of the NFL rulebook\u00a0says that the entire time a player is \u201cvisible to the stadium and television audience,\u201d including during pregame warmups and in postgame interviews both on the field and in the locker room, they are \u201cprohibited from wearing, displaying, or otherwise conveying personal messages either in writing or illustration, unless such message has been approved in advance by the League office\u2026<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u201cThe League will not grant permission for any club or player to wear, display, or otherwise convey messages, through helmet decals, arm bands, jersey patches, mouthpieces, or other items affixed to game uniforms or equipment, which relate to political activities or causes, other non-football events, causes or campaigns, or charitable causes or campaigns.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<section class=\"wp-block-group check-this-out has-xs-padding-top has-sm-padding-bottom\" data-content-name=\"Check This Out\" data-track-content=\"\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-nowrap is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-5 wp-block-group-is-layout-flex has-xl-margin-bottom\">\n<div class=\"mai-list-content\">\n<p>Simon cited a recent example involving Pittsburgh Steelers star wide receiver George Pickens. During a Sunday night game against the Dallas Cowboys earlier this year, he wore eyeblack that read, \u201cOpen f**king always,\u201d which led to a $10,231 fine.<\/p>\n<p>Nick Bosa has been vocal about his support for Trump, who\u2019s running against Vice President Kamala Harris. Trump aims to become just the second president to serve two non-consecutive terms, a feat accomplished only by Grover Cleveland.<\/p>\n<p>The 2024 election will be held next Tuesday.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h-nick-bosa-is-having-another-excellent-season-for-49ers\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Nick Bosa Is Having Another Excellent Season For 49ers<\/h2>\n<p>The 49ers have been marred by injuries this season, a key reason behind their disappointing 4-4 start. But the 2022 Defensive Player of the Year has been a rock for\u00a0<a class=\"mai-link-injected\" href=\"https:\/\/www.totalprosports.com\/tag\/kyle-shanahan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kyle Shanahan<\/a>\u2019s squad on the defensive side of the ball.<\/p>\n<p>Bosa has 4.5 sacks in eight games, putting him on pace to hit double-digits for the fourth straight year.
