The young worker then stood back to reveal her entire outfit: a short black dress with a high neckline.<\/p>\n

She then filmed herself seeking out advice from her male co-worker and asked if he thought her outfit was appropriate for the office.<\/p>\n

She said the email she received described her outfit as \u201cdistracting\u201d, but the male co-worker eased her worries and said he thought it was fine.<\/p>\n

Things didn\u2019t end there though.<\/p>\n

The woman shared that after the email, she had a meeting with the HR representative who had initially commented on her outfit. And during that meeting, the same woman who made the complaint went on to question what she had worn to their meeting.<\/p>\n

Once again on social media she shared what she was wearing, which was a short, long-sleeved V-neck black dress.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am basically in a blazer! So she can\u2019t be mad. It is low-cut, but who cares?\u201d she argued.<\/p>\n

She said the HR worker said she was \u201cslightly disappointed\u201d by the outfit she\u2019d chosen to wear for the meeting.<\/p>\n

The worker then defended the first dress she wore and said her male co-worker said it was fine.<\/p>\n

The woman replied that people in the workplace had been claiming she was \u201cbegging for attention\u201d, which immediately shocked her.<\/p>\n

She then relented and said she\u2019d go shopping for some new work clothes over the weekend but downtrodden by the experience.<\/p>\n

The response online to her dress was divided.<\/p>\n

Some thought it was fine and others just didn\u2019t think it looked like something you\u2019d wear to the workplace.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was so ready to be on your side! But then you stepped back from the camera,\u201d another admitted.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is so inappropriate,\u201d one argued.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, other people argued in the comments that it isn\u2019t the woman\u2019s \u201cfault\u201d if she was distracting co-workers.<\/p>\n
