The former insurance salesman has also been charged with three counts of second-degree assault.<\/p>\n<p>Officials have revealed that Callis was on a 15-day alcohol and cocaine bender at the time of the incident. According to the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.baltimoresun.com\/2024\/10\/23\/ravens-fan-denied-bail\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Baltimore Sun<\/a>, his lawyer is pushing for him to be released to a patient treatment facility.<\/p>\n<p>WJZ\u2019s Mike Hellgren has also reported that the Ravens fan was on probation for a prior violent assault and was ordered to undergo addiction treatment after he\u00a0<em>\u201cbeat a man who appeared to be unconscious in the middle of York Road.\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s said to be no evidence that he ever received any treatment.<\/p>\n<div id=\"incontent-ad-1\" class=\"pw-incontent\" data-label=\"Advertisement\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"pw-ad-scroll-container pw-clearfix pw-hide-in-content-out-of-view\" data-pw-in-article=\"true\">\n<div class=\"pw-ad-container-logo\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Central District Assault Arrest<\/p>\n<p>In reference to the brutal assault that occurred on Oct. 13, 2024, in the 1000 blk of S. Of course it\u2019s disappointing.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cI think he needs help. The criminal justice system is both designed to punish and rehabilitate. He\u2019s a 24-year-old kid. He clearly has a problem.
