However, those wins aren\u2019t all positive, as the Chiefs continue to lose players to injuries. Their latest addition to the treatment table in Kansas City is veteran WR\u00a0<strong>JuJu Smith-Schuster<\/strong>, who left the field in the first quarter with a hamstring injury on Sunday.<\/p>\n<div id=\"scroll-1\"><\/div>\n<p class=\"dom-traversal_domPTag__RMrin\">Building up to the clash, Smith-Schuster was listed as questionable for hamstring spasms felt in training. But\u00a0<strong>Andy Reid<\/strong>\u00a0still decided to go ahead with him, considering the lack of receivers they have available. Well, offering an update on JuJu\u2019s injury and the practice squad\u2019s involvement, Reid said,\u00a0<em>\u201cReally all those guys on the practice squad, we\u2019ve got trust and feel good about. We\u2019ve talked about it a little here. Among all those next in line, none of them managed to cross 20 receiving yards on Sunday. However, Hardman did muster 38 rushing yards with one catch for 17 yards, thereby showing the problems they have in the receiver room. Even Worthy who had an explosive start to his rookie season after scoring a TD on the first night. Didn\u2019t show the same flair as he finished with only 24 yards against the\u00a0<strong>49ers.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"dom-traversal_domPTag__RMrin\">Aside from JuJu, Kansas City already has\u00a0<strong>Rashee Rice<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Hollywood Brown<\/strong>\u00a0on their injury reserves. Rice suffered a gruesome knee injury in week 4, that ended his second season in the NFL. Elsewhere, Brown, who joined the team this offseason, hasn\u2019t played a single snap since getting his shoulder injured in preseason.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dom-traversal_domPTag__RMrin\">Before the bye week, JuJu Smith-Schuster had a great game returning for his second stint with the Chiefs this season. Finishing with seven catches for 130 yards, he helped the Chiefs continue their unbeaten streak into the bye week. However, his absence next week against the Raiders could truly hurt the Chiefs if they don\u2019t find a solution soon. Well, former NFL offensive guard\u00a0<strong>Geoff Schwartz<\/strong>\u00a0did urge the\u00a0<a class=\"es-hyperlink-new\" href=\"https:\/\/www.essentiallysports.com\/category\/nfl\/kansas-city-chiefs\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Chiefs<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0to bring Jets WR\u00a0<strong>Garrett Wilson<\/strong>. As he continues to get overlooked in New York after Davante Adams\u2019 signing last week.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"dom-traversal_domNewH2__H0HKD\"><strong>Garrett Wilson\u2019s struggles continue as Chiefs look to sign the $20 M Jets WR<\/strong><\/h2>\n<div id=\"scroll-3\"><\/div>\n<p class=\"dom-traversal_domPTag__RMrin\">After the Jets sealed the\u00a0<strong>Davante Adams<\/strong>\u00a0trade deal last week, Garrett Wilson\u2019s brief time in New York appears to have gone behind the shadows. Over the seven games he has played this season, the 24-year-old has racked up 46 receptions for 460 yards, including three TDs. As multiple teams continue to monitor his situation with the Jets, his mistake vs the Steelers on Sunday may have led to a pick-6. Catching five passes on 9 targets for 61 yards, his fumble in the third quarter left him disappointed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dom-traversal_domPTag__RMrin\">As the Jets trail by only 1-point,\u00a0<strong>Aaron Rodgers<\/strong>\u00a0found Wilson in open space for a pass. However, Wilson couldn\u2019t hold on to the pass properly as it ricocheted off his chest to the hands of\u00a0<strong>Steelers<\/strong>\u00a0CB\u00a0<strong>Beanie Bishop Jr<\/strong>. He then went ahead and returned it on the Jets one-yard line.
