Everyone is pulling for injured\u00a0Detroit Lions<\/a>\u00a0star edge rusher\u00a0Aidan Hutchinson<\/a>\u00a0after he broke his leg last Sunday during a win against the Dallas Cowboys.<\/p>\n The Detroit Lions got an update on the health of their star defensive lineman this week.<\/p>\n Adam Schefter<\/a>\u00a0of ESPN reported on Saturday that sources close to Lions defensive end Aidan Hutchinson believe he will have a \u201crealistic chance\u201d to return for the Super Bowl should the team advance that far into the postseason.<\/p>\n One source even reportedly believes that it \u201cwould be more surprising if he did not make it back for a potential Super Bowl appearance than if he did.\u201d<\/p>\n As of now, the 24-year-old Pro Bowler is on the road to recovery as he recovers from that fractured left tibia and fibula that put an end to his promising regular season.<\/p>\n Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell told reporters that they anticipate a four- to six-month recovery for Aidan Hutchinson, and he didn\u2019t rule out the possibility of him returning later on in the season.<\/p>\n \u201cI would never count Hutch out, ever,\u201d\u00a0Campbell said<\/a>. \u201cSo, probably a long road, but I would never count him out, and I would say if anybody can make it back, it\u2019d be him.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n The Detroit Lions are in the market for a solid edge rusher to replace the injured Aidan Hutchinson until he\u2019s better.<\/p>\n Head coach Dan Campbell didn\u2019t rule out the possibility of looking for somebody to replace him.<\/p>\n \u201cLook, we\u2019re open to anything,\u201d Campbell said via\u00a0Kevin Patra\u00a0<\/a>of\u00a0NFL<\/a>.com. \u201c(General manager) Brad (Holmes) has been working through it. We are not going to be in a hurry. Brad is doing his homework. The crew is doing their homework. They\u2019re looking at everything. But we\u2019re not going to just make a move to make it. It\u2019s got to be right.
