As Kelce, 34, reports back to Missouri for\u00a0training camp<\/a>\u00a0with the Kansas City Chiefs after a summer of work and travel with Swift, also 34, a source tells PEOPLE exclusively that the tight end wanted to spend every moment with his superstar girlfriend before turning his focus back to football.<\/p>\n

\u201cTravis\u2019 last few concerts were bittersweet,” the insider shares of Kelce’s\u00a0trip to see Swift in Germany<\/a>\u00a0on the Eras Tour.<\/p>\n

“They knew their time together like this was coming to an end and he made sure to spend every minute he could with Taylor,” the insider adds.<\/p>\n

Swift and Kelce’s demanding schedules often force them to be in different cities, but the source says the “Fortnight” singer and the NFL star take any opportunity to spend time together as their relationship nears the one-year mark.<\/p>\n

The Chiefs are holding their open practices during training camp at Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph. On Aug. 15, they’ll play their first preseason game against the Jacksonville Jaguars before the\u00a0regular season\u00a0<\/a>begins on Sept. 5.<\/p>\n
