Chiefs DE Mike Danna missed Wednesday’s practice nursing his pectoral injury, creating significant doubt that he’ll be able to suit up on Sunday afternoon against the 49ers.<\/p>\n

Head coach Andy Reid told reporters on Tuesday that\u00a0Danna was working on his pec<\/a>\u00a0over the bye week. He previously missed Week 4 with a calf issue though he came back in Week 5.<\/p>\n

There’s still an opportunity for Danna to suit up and practice this week. However, given the Chiefs are already past their bye and have over two months of consecutive games, it’s logical for Danna to rest and make sure he’s healthy for the stretch run.<\/p>\n
