Baseball fans were anything but welcoming towards Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift after the power couple graced Yankee Stadium for Game 1 of the ALCS between the Yankees and Guardians.<\/p>\n

Swift has become a regular staple at Chiefs games as she supports her boyfriend. While some have been thrilled by her presence, other fans have grown exhausted over the screen time she gets during broadcasts.<\/p>\n

After the MLB Twitter account featured a video of the pair, fans of America\u2019s favorite pastime curb-stomped the idea with their comments.<\/p>\n

\u2018They\u2019re already on tv enough in football, we don\u2019t need them here too,\u2019 one fan wrote.<\/p>\n

\u2018Trying to [boost] those ratings I see,\u2019 a second wrote.<\/p>\n

Is MLB this desperate for ratings? I guess so,\u2019 a third chimed in. \u2018Lame, I\u2019ll change the channel. I was watching the ALCS game until now.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u2018I was wondering why everyone was booing,\u2019 a fourth added.<\/p>\n

More fans showered the comment section with apathy toward their presence with \u2018who cares\u2019 and \u2018shut up\u2019 echoing across responses.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, other fans called fouls on Swift and Kelce being disloyal for showing up to a Yankee game. One fan pointed out how Kelce, an Ohio native, was not making his Guardians fandom known in enemy territory.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s supposed to be a Guardians fan,\u2019 the fan wrote. \u2018What a f***ing sell out.\u2019<\/p>\n

The Guardians bested the Detroit Lions in five games to advance to the American League finale. On the other hand, the Yankees bested Kansas City in four games.<\/p>\n
