The \u201cHawk Tuah\u201d Girl,\u00a0Haliey Welch<\/a>, has only been interested in sports for a few months, but she\u2019s already a fan of the\u00a0New York Mets<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Welch must have been sorely disappointed with Sunday\u2019s game result, as the team posted a 9-0 loss to the\u00a0Los Angeles Dodgers<\/a>\u00a0in the first game of their NCLS series.<\/p>\n

Still, Haliey had the internet laughing at the Dodgers after\u00a0taking to her Instagram Story<\/a>\u00a0to post a photo of two of their players participating in a rather raunchy celebration before the fixture.<\/p>\n

Haliey Welch Will Need To Do A Lot Better Than Troll if The Mets Are To Have A Chance<\/h2>\n

Welch will hope for better luck on Monday, however, with the Mets to play L.A. in Game 2.<\/p>\n

They will have a task on their hands containing Jack Flaherty, who pitched seven scoreless innings and allowed just two hits to accentuate his team\u2019s wild pitching form. The Dodgers have been on an impressive run, having tied a 58-year-old\u00a0MLB<\/a>\u00a0record with 33 consecutive scoreless innings (Orioles in 1966).<\/p>\n

The Mets will hope to bounce back from Sunday\u2019s struggles. Kodai Senga will be especially keen on atoning after his rough start, which saw the Dodgers put early runs on the board.<\/p>\n

Opportunities were few and far between for NY, who failed to make the best of whatever came the way.\u00a0But they will have several more games to show their mettle.<\/p>\n
