Past comments from\u00a0Dallas Cowboys<\/a>\u00a0owner\u00a0Jerry Jones<\/a>\u00a0suggest he\u2019ll again vote for Donald Trump in the 2024 U.S. presidential election.<\/p>\n

Jerry Jones has donated millions of dollars to Republican politicians over the years. In 2017,\u00a0USA Today<\/a><\/em>\u00a0reported that the Dallas Cowboys owner donated $1 million to Trump\u2019s inaugural committee.<\/p>\n

A January 2020 story\u00a0by Steve Gardner of\u00a0USA Today<\/em>\u00a0about Jones\u2019 support for Trump and the GOP\u00a0has resurfaced. The story noted that in Oct. 2019, Jones gave a reporter the following answer at\u00a0NFL<\/a>\u00a0Owners meetings when questioned about his support for the Republican party:<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s how the country should be run but don\u2019t (expletive)\u00a0with me, all right?\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Additionally, it was reported in November 2022 that Jerry Jones donated $500,000 to Texas Governor Greg Abbott. And a month before the 2020 election, Jones said that Donald Trump is \u201cthe hardest worker you\u2019ve ever seen.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones on @1053thefan<\/a> unprompted: “I want to express my sensitivity and concern for the President. …Knowing him, he’s the hardest worker you’ve ever seen. Knowing him, he’ll be able to go right on through this and hopefully not miss a beat.”<\/p>\n
