Some of the star panelists viewers will see on the show, which premieres on Prime Video with three episodes Oct. 16, include Nicole Byer, Nikki Glaser, Lala Kent, former NFL star \u201cOchocinco\u201d Johnson and more.<\/p>\n Kelce has a dream guest on the show though \u2014 and it hits a little closer to home.<\/p>\n \u201cI would love to get somebody in my family up there,\u201d he tells TODAY.com. \u201cEither my dad or my brother, because it can get a little embarrassing if you don\u2019t know, like, the simplest of questions.\u201d<\/p>\n Not wanting to put his mom,\u00a0Donna Kelce<\/a>\u00a0\u2014 a pop culture figure in her own right as a new\u00a0Hallmark star<\/a>\u00a0and one of\u00a0Glamour\u2019s Mothers of the Year<\/a>\u00a0\u2014 in that hot seat, Kelce says\u00a0dad Ed Kelce<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0brother Jason Kelce<\/a>\u00a0can handle it.<\/p>\n \u201cI think my dad would do pretty good. Jason …\u201d Travis Kelce starts, before taking a big inhale to think. \u201cHe\u2019s got some pretty good trivia knowledge, so I think he\u2019d fare pretty good as well.\u201d<\/p>\n Kelce says he would prepare for filming backstage by reading through all the questions and quizzing himself in the process. As he answered them, he \u201cfelt pretty confident,\u201d he says.<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t know if I\u2019m making it all the way to $100,000,\u201d he says with a laugh, referring to the largest prize contestants can win if they successfully answer a sixth-grade level question.<\/p>\n \u201cI want to say I could probably make it to fourth or fifth grade,\u201d he adds. \u201cI can make it through … I can give a good run at it.\u201d<\/p>\n Contestants on the original show can at times choose to leave the game, taking some of their winnings with them and giving up any attempts to answer more questions.<\/p>\n But Kelce notes he wouldn\u2019t take that option.<\/p>\n \u201cI know that I would definitely not go home with money \u2014 I wouldn\u2019t just leave,\u201d he says.<\/p>\n As host, Kelce essentially plays himself, riffing with contestants over their answers and their trust in the celebs they can \u201ccheat\u201d off of at various points in the game.<\/p>\n He credits the team at Amazon with making him feel \u201ccomfortable from the jump.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWe ran through the show so many times to where I started to really grasp it and make it my own,\u201d he says.<\/p>\n The hosting job is Kelce\u2019s latest gig to help make his onscreen ambitions a reality. Just a few weeks before the\u00a0\u201cAre You Smarter Than a Celebrity?\u201d<\/a>\u00a0premiere, Kelce made in his\u00a0debut in FX\u2019s \u201cGrotesquerie,\u201d<\/a>\u00a0alongside Niecy Nash-Betts.<\/p>\n Hosting specifically \u201cfelt pretty natural,\u201d Kelce says.<\/p>\n \u201cWe had so many unbelievable guests and celebrities, familiar faces, however you want to call them \u2014 it was just so genuine and so much fun to be a part of,\u201d he says. \u201cEverybody was just so fun to work with that it didn\u2019t really feel like work.\u201d<\/p>\n His favorite memory from working on set, though, doubled as his most embarrassing.<\/p>\n \u201cI was being silly with one of my friends backstage and trying to act like I was kicking them, like I was Bruce Lee, and I ripped the entire inseam on my suit pants, and it took, like, 15 minutes for somebody to come in and sew that back together for me,\u201d he says. \u201cSo that was a really embarrassing moment, and I wasted some time, some valuable time, doing it.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Travis Kelce can be seen on TVs across America just about every weekend through football season.
