Roger Goodell<\/a>\u00a0made a big mistake with his recent comments about the\u00a0Super Bowl<\/a>.<\/p>\n With the\u00a0NFL<\/a>\u00a0increasing its international footprint, commissioner Roger Goodell is now thinking of taking things to the next step when he did not rule out the idea of staging the Super Bowl outside of the United States.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019ve always traditionally tried to play a Super Bowl in an NFL city\u2014that was always sort of a reward for the cities that have NFL franchises,\u201d he said Saturday at a fan forum, per the Associated Press\u2019\u00a0Ken Maguire<\/a>. \u201cBut things change. It wouldn\u2019t surprise me at all if that happens one day.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n These are not new comments from Goodell.
