Caitlin Clark\u00a0has offered a reaction to being called a\u00a0\u201cWhite B-\u201d\u00a0by\u00a0Pat McAfee, according to Pat Mcafee himself.<\/p>\n
The ESPN show host crossed a line on Monday when he referred to Clark as the above while explaining the significant impact she\u2019s had on the WNBA.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere seems to be this notion that this whole evolution of success and popularity in the WNBA is because of this entire rookie class. I think there\u2019s a chance Chennedy Carter thinks [Sky rookie forward] Angel Reese deserves all this credit. The media talks about how it\u2019s the entire class,\u201d\u00a0he said on \u2018The Pat McAfee Show.\u2019<\/p>\n
\u201cI would like the media people that continue to say, \u2018This rookie class, this rookie class, this rookie class.\u2019 Nah, just call it for what it is \u2014 there\u2019s one white B- for the Indiana team who is a superstar.\u201d<\/p>\n
The comment unsurprisingly drew rife backlash, with many calling for ESPN to suspend or fire the former\u00a0NFL punter.<\/p>\n
