Taylor Swift donated millions of dollars to hurricane relief efforts in Florida as the state recovers from one natural disaster,\u00a0Hurricane Helene<\/a>, and prepares to be struck by another,\u00a0Hurricane Milton<\/a>, Wednesday.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are incredibly grateful to Taylor Swift for her generous $5 million donation to Hurricane Helene and Milton efforts,\u201d Feeding America, a nonprofit organization that supports those fighting hunger,\u00a0said in a statement via X<\/a>\u00a0Wednesday.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis contribution will help communities rebuild and recover, [provide] essential food, clean water and supplies to people affected by these devastating storms.\u201d<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span>The organization added that when people come together, it can \u201cmake a real impact in supporting families as they navigate the challenges ahead.\u201d<\/p>\n

Feeding America concluded with a message to the global superstar, \u201cThank you, Taylor, for standing with us in the movement to end hunger and for helping communities in need.\u201d<\/p>\n

Swift, 34, quietly made the generous donation without posting about it on social media.<\/p>\n

The Grammy winner \u2014 who recently\u00a0became the richest female musician in the world\u00a0<\/a>with a net worth of $1.6 billion \u2014 is scheduled to head down to Southern Florida next week to resume her Eras Tour.<\/p>\n

They are set to be her first concerts back on her sold-out tour since going on hiatus following a long stint in Europe. Her\u00a0last set of shows took place in London<\/a>\u00a0in August.<\/p>\n

At this point, there have not been any announcements about postponing the Miami shows, scheduled for Oct 18 to 20 at the Hard Rock Stadium. Her rep did not return Page Six\u2019s request for comment.<\/p>\n

Florida is near and dear to Swift, as she even has a song off her \u201cThe Tortured Poets Department\u201d album titled, \u201cFlorida!!!,\u201d which pays homage to the state. She also\u00a0once had a home there<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Hurricane Milton, which as of Wednesday afternoon was listed as a Category 4, with sustained winds around 130 mph, is projected to have catastrophic effects on towns like Tampa and Sarasota on the Western Coast of the state.<\/p>\n

Helene has already resulted in major damage and\u00a0claimed the lives of more than 230 people<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Swift\u2019s philanthropic spirit comes as no surprise, though.<\/p>\n

After her boyfriend Travis Kelce\u2019s team, the Kansas City Chiefs, saw\u00a0a tragic shooting<\/a>\u00a0take over their Super Bowl parade earlier this year,\u00a0she donated $100,000<\/a>\u00a0to a family who lost their mom in the attack.<\/p>\n
